Naked Basics Palette Review

Hi Beauties,

I recently received urban decay's newest naked basics palette as a birthday present this past year and decided its time to do a review. It is described as an all matte palette of neutral eyeshadows, however venus is "semi matte" which has a bit of a sheen to use as a highlight.

Ive had the palette for about 3 weeks now and i use it almost everyday. Its a good palette to travel with and has good neutral colours for the perfect eye look.  All the shadows are very buttery and very blendable. Crave is the only shadow with a slightly different texture than the other very buttery shadows. I cant complain about the palette, except for the fact that it has a "different smell"which i can smell when looking in the mirror of the palette. Maybe its just my palette, who knows!

Its a small palette so its easy for travel and is a pretty good bargain as its only $32 dollars canadian at sephora. I would definitely recommend for those girls who love neutrals.

Left to Right: Venus - Foxy  - Walk of Shame - Naked 2 - Faint - Crave

Venus - is an off white with a sheen to it great to use as highlighting shade
Foxy - is a yellow based matte shade - perfect for eyelid
Walk of Shame - pinky light nude matte - perfect for eyelid
Naked 2 - is a taupe medium nude shade, it is more grey than the shade naked (in the original naked palette) and less dark than tease (in the naked 2 palette) GREAT for shading
Faint - is warm dark brown - perfect for the outer corner
Crave - is a deep dark brown which almost looks black
